The club has a number of events planned for members: April we will have a fun night welcoming everyone back as well as new members; in May we have a lobster Feast; July of course is our annual Luau, as well as the Commodore's Ball coming in September.

The Penticton Yacht & Tennis Club, situated on the scenic southeast shores of Lake Okanagan is home to approximately 250 members from the surrounding South Okanagan communities. Unlike other boating based clubs on the Lake, the PYTC is unique in having an outstanding and very active tennis group with four newly resurfaced courts and full lighting facilities for extended play times.

Also unique to the PYTC is a highly competitive keelboat racing community, with events scheduled April through November. PYTC sailors are known to attend events valley wide, around the NW region, and even as far away as Florida. With both One-Design and handicap racing fleets, generally there is a style of racing suited for most anyone. The club also has a 20’ sailboat available for rental by members along with a 14’ “crash” boat to assist with club functions.

The PYTC has a licensed bar, kitchen facilities, bathrooms with showers, satellite television, meeting and conference rooms, along with an impressive licensed outdoor patio with several gas fired barbeques. In winter months the club has a gas fireplace to enjoy the panoramic views of Okanagan Lake. No initiation fee is required, and reasonable annual dues with options to partake in the club’s various activities are available. For further information contact the club at 250-492-2853.
